In December 2024, we welcomed three bright individuals, two from Cedar Girls' Secondary and one from Raffles Girls' Secondary. Though they came from different schools, they quickly built synergy, working closely as a united team throughout their internship.
Involvement in various projects
One of the most memorable highlights was their involvement in the Year End Intern Party. The students were entrusted with full ownership of the event, from ideation and planning to execution and facilitation. Through this experience, the interns had the chance to sharpen their organisational and leadership skills, while also learning how to manage other responsibilities.

Beyond internal events, the interns also made a meaningful contribution to the wider community which is the Digital Drawing Programme for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). They stepped in as student volunteers, offering hands-on guidance. They played a vital role in ensuring that the students were supported in every way. Although they attended a few sessions based on their availability, each visit left a strong impression.
Another key learning opportunity came from the Augmented Reality with iPad Workshop, under the New Media Programme primarily designed for professional trainers. Despite the technical complexity, the interns embraced the challenge, diving into new digital concepts and creative tools. Their openness to learn and explore cutting-edge media highlighted their adaptability and thirst for growth.

Reflecting on their journey

"It really made me appreciate the amount of work that goes behind the various programs that I have experienced in school by outside vendors, and their effort into making it work" - Sandie
"MTC has helped me embrace diverse ideas and social innovation, giving the drive to help the world through my innovations." - Pei Ni
"I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I think I learned quite a bit about how Social Enterprises work and how youths in Singapore can really make a change if they want to." - Jing Wen
Their words remind us why nurturing young minds is important. At Make The Change, we believe in giving youths the tools, space and support to make real-world impact.
