On the other hand, Nailah focused on engagement and digital outreach, leveraging social media to enhance publicity. One of her key roles involved facilitating a digital literacy session, where she guided seniors in using the iPads, which includes creative apps like Procreate. Additionally, she led a team in curating engaging content on Instagram and Facebook. Her creative skills in designing social media posts and stories has allowed her to reach to a wider online audience.

A Pivotal Experience

Through this internship, both Jevana and Nailah found that they had gained several skills and experiences, and found this opportunity a truly meaningful one. They also shared that they enjoyed this one week immensely.

Their reflections highlight how internships are truly beneficial for youths, especially in the modern, ever-changing world, as they are able to gain the necessary life skills to contribute effectively to society in the future.
