Introduction to Tictag & Artifical Intelligence (AI)

In February, we hosted our first workshop of the year where our Younite community came together. We had the honour of having Tictag, a company dedicated to empowering beneficiaries by providing them with opportunities to work on meaningful projects.

Through their innovative approach, they not only provide employment but also equip their team members with valuable skills in emerging technologies. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to delve into the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and explore various aspects of it.

From introductory sessions to more advanced topics, participants engaged in hands-on activities covering image classification, bounding boxes, polygonal bounding boxes, image collection, and audio collection. These sessions not only offered valuable insights into the practical applications of AI but also fostered a sense of inclusivity and empowerment among all participants.

For many, this event served as a gateway to new opportunities and possibilities. It demonstrated the immense potential of individuals with disabilities and highlighted the importance of creating inclusive spaces within the tech industry. As we reflect on the success of this event, we are inspired to continue our efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all that we do.
